The problem
Why storytelling matters in business
Many business presentations are filled with facts, figures and information but fail to engage the people listening.
A message may be accurate and important, yet quickly forgotten.
People often rely heavily on slides, data or lengthy explanations without considering how to make their message meaningful to an audience.
Storytelling helps bring ideas to life, create understanding and make messages more memorable.
What storytelling training explores
The Human Voice Studio teaches storytelling as a practical communication skill, not simply as a presentation technique. Participants explore:
- Finding stories in everyday professional experiences
- Understanding what makes a story worth telling
- Structuring a story with a clear beginning, development and ending
- Using detail, emotion and contrast to engage an audience
- Connecting a story to a specific message or purpose
- Using voice, pace, pauses and body language to bring stories to life
- Adapting stories to different audiences and situations
- Knowing when a story adds value and when it doesn't
Find the stories you already have
Through interactive exercises, participants discover stories from their own experiences, practise shaping them and experiment with different ways of delivering them.

Natural, not a performance.
